Up for bids is a beautiful hand made Jeff White Camp Style Damascus knife. Jeff White forges all types of cutting edge blades; from Battle Axes, Tomahawks, Hunting& Trade knifes to Throwing knifes. He specializes in Damascus period knifes replicating pieces that were made in the 1600's through the 1800's. His Damascus blades are forged with a combination of hi carbon (1095) and nickel (AS203E) that is twisted to form a random pattern. The knife offered is 11 7/16 inches long. The blade length is 6 5/8 inches. Blade width is approx. 1 ¼ inches, thickness is approx 1/8 inches. The tang is stamped with Jeff's makers' mark. The handle is made of Redhart wood, fastened with two brass rivets. Jeff White has been making knives for over 20 years. I was told some have been featured in movies. I was going to make a period type sheath for this knife when I realized it was too valuable to take the chance of losing it. Included is a hand made 6 - 8 oz vegetable tanned leather sheath. It was custom made by me to fit this knife and holds the knife securely. ( PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES). This would be an outstanding addition to a custom knife collection. It would also make an outstanding user. A lot of work went into this knife and sheath. You must hold it to feel its spirit. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
