Before I describe the knife that you are currently bidding on, let me tell you a little about myself. I started building knives about 2yrs. ago to get myself more acustomed to using the tools that would be need to build custom muzzleloaders. My father has built them for around 35yrs now, and before I started that big of a project I thought I'd try to start on something a little smaller. Well, that was 2yrs. ago now, and it has become a passion all in its own. Until now, I have been selling most of them locally, and am now trying to get my knives all over the US via E-bay. I buy all of my blades either off the internet, or at knife shows from around the southeastern part of Ohio. I use many different types of aged hardwoods and exotics for the handle materials. ALL work is done by hand, using sandpaper and hand files. My knives are made to use and abuse, so strap it to your belt, or add it to your collection. The knife you are bidding on comes with a custom sheath, made from 7-8oz. cow leather. Take a look at this beautiful hunting knife! I call it the Vincent Skinner, after my home town. The blade is constructed of 6A high carbon stainless steel. It is 4" long, and sharpened to a razors edge. The overall length is 8 7/8". The handle is made from a beautifully matched set of Lacewood . The figuring on this set of scales is absolutly read more
