You are bidding on a Private Collections Custom Knife, made by Dan Grubaugh! This is a very stunning knife! This linerlock folder features a San Mai Damascus blade made in Seki City Japan! This is some of the finest damascus available! Handles are georgous pre-ban African Elephant Ivory that have beautiful creamy color and stunning grain with red liner spacers and it has been polished to a silky smooth finish! The liner and the bolsters are of stainless steel. Scales are held securely in place by brass pins. The blade and liners have been beautifully fileworked to give this knife stunning detail. This is a very classy knife that my pic's do not do it justice! This knife would make a spectacular addition to any collection, or a very classy carry knife for the discriminating gentleman! Closed length is 4 inches, and 7 1/4 open with a cutting edge of 3 inches I use the highest quality materials available for the knives that I make. Sure, they cost a little more, but the end result is a knife of hierloom quality that can be proudly handed down to future generations. My knives are highly collectable, yet durable and rugged enough to withstand use in the field! The new owner of this knife will be very pleased when he/she receives this knife. The pre-ban African Elephant Ivory used in the handles of this knife was legally improted and conforms to all C.I.T.E.S laws.
