is a custom made wooden case for flintlock or percussion pistols. I don't think it is old but it may be an old case that has been relined. It is in superb shape and shows very nice workmanship. It is not one of those commercially sol cases. It measures 13 inches long, 9 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. It came to me with an English Queen Anne flintlock pistol in it and it complimented the pistol wonderfully. The pistol is not part of the auction but is available. The compartment for the gun is 12 by 2.75 by 6.75 by 5.25 by 5.25 inches. Perfect for your antique pistol and accessories. It would enhance any gun. No key for the lock. Very well made.
