Custom Handmade Sheath for Gerber MK II

100% Hand Made in the U.S.A.

This Auction is for a handmade sheath for the Gerber MK II knife with loop to hold the Eze-Lap Sharpener. The sharpener is not included but I can provide a link to it on the net if you need to purchase one.

The sheath is a Type C, 6 layers thick at the throat, three layers thick at the bottom. It is a nine piece sheath. A thick leather welt is used as the blade spacer layer with the cutout to the shape of the blade for a snug fit and to protect the stitching.....sheath is approximately 58" thick at the throat and has optional sharpener pocket. No sharpener included but shaped to take the Model M Eze-Lap sharpener. Paracord holes for lashing the sheath to backpack or other gear.

I use oil tanned harness leather dyed a rich brown or black color and hand stitched with 4 cord linen thread. Antique bronze snaps. Neatsfoot oil is applied to the leather and then a final application of mink oil for water resistance.
