Up for auction... 1 Mike Cotita custom made 1085 high carbon steel Bowie Knife. A custom, handmade leather sheath is included with this knife. Pictures will appear below when the sheath is completed. See my completed sales to take a look at my sheath work. Hand made by Mike Cotita in Georgia USA. This knife is new, was completed September 2007. Payment is required same day as auction close. I do not ship to APO/FPO or other military addresses. I can ship your item to a home, stateside address, they will have to forward the item to your military address for you. I am retired U. S. Navy, I understand and sympathize with your mail situation but choose not to risk those uninsured shipments. Payment Payment is required same day as auction close. PayPal only! DO NOT bid if you do not agree to these payment terms. Delivery You are responsible for compliance with ALL local and federal laws regarding purchase and delivery of this knife to your address. You MUST be 18 years or older to purchase this knife. Returns All knives are sold as described and as pictured. T is no return for buyer remorse or not reading the description. Questions? Ask before bidding, not after. If the handles are stone please note that stone is brittle. T is no guarantee against chipping or breakage of the handles. If an item is damaged during transit to you, you will need to save the original packaging to file an insurance claim. YOU file the insurance claim, not me! I will be happy to provide you with information to file that claim. No item may be returned without first obtaining a RMA number to place on the package. Buyer pays for all return postage. The ONLY reason I will accept a return is if I have shipped the wrong item or made an error in the description, such as an incorrect picture, price, or similar error. Scales Custom handles may be made from wood, stabilized wood and rough blocks of recon stone (86% stone, 14% epoxy resins) This is real stone, not imitation stone, handle with care, if this handle is stone, it may break, chip or crack if dropped on a hard surface. Handle with care, t is no guarantee for broken handles. The stone handles are sanded and polished from 80 grit down to 800 grit. As with all hand crafted items, t will be minor variations and minor sanding/polishing imperfections in the blade or handles. That is the nature of handcrafted items which make each piece unique. You may maintain your handles over the years by mechanical buffing with a quality jeweler's rouge. other Contact, messages and e-mail I respond to all e-mails and messages within 24 hours except in unusual circumstances. I do not respond to e-mails or messages if the answer is already listed in this auction terms/description or in the item description and terms. You won't get any e-mail or tracking info from me if you have any spam filters turned on in your e-mail account, especially AOL and Yahoo! mail.
