Selling a Kato SD40-2 custom painted and weathered Illinois Central #6129. I had this and 1 other IC unit (different ebay listing ) custom painted for my layout but because of our recent addition I am adding on to our house so some of the toys have to go. These locomotive were originally BN locos then they were purchased by the IC and repainted. This unit represents the Operation Lifesaver paint scheme. Weathering is really nice !! This is the newer Kato SD40-2 that has room for a speaker in the fuel tank and has ditch lights on the front. Handrail, grab irons, coupler bar, mu hoses, metal couplers, wipers, sunshades, and plow have all been added. The hobby store was out of horns so no horn included but hole is drilled on cab so its ready to be added. Unit has been test ran only and runs smooth. NO sound or DCC but can be easily added.
