we have a custom Peter Stone Western Pleasure Horse to a Varnish Roan Appaloosa by Audre Schutte of Fox Valley Artist. Model was done as a donation to our Live Show, Minnesota Live. Model can also been seen on Audre's website under "Beowulf". Details as explained by Audre are: This guy is my donation model to the new Minnesota Live Show. His name is Beowulf, after the oldest written story, and he is a customized Peter Stone western pleasure horse into a varnish roan appaloosa. He has a new mane; tucked in and resculpted head; a thicker, resculpted neck; and more developed male parts. I painted him to a dark grey varnish roan appaloosa using a new technique that shows the pigmentation of his skin underneath the white from w he was roaned out. I did this using watercolors and soft pastels, with the final layer of roaned color done carefully by hand using acrylics. He has ghost and haloed spots. His hooves are extensively stripped and he is molted and pinked in all the right areas. His eyes are an expressive coppery dark brown and his mane and tail are tastefully streaked with a little pearly white. Buyer to cover shipping/insurance of $12. Payment can be made by check, money order, or paypal and must be received w/in 7 days from the end of the auction.
