This custom painted, decaled, and weathered HO scale Conrail 54'' 3-bay covered hopper #889811 is in Merrimack Car & Locomotive Works " No Graffiti Zone TM " line of custom weathered HO scale freight cars. I refuse to honor and promote the willful and illegal defacing of public and private property by not applying graffiti to any of my weathered freight cars. Instead, let me take you back to the time of ACI labels and wheel inspection dots when railroads still proudly advertised their roadnames with heralds and often colorful schemes. This car features: - Completely assembled and ready to run Athearn car, began as an undecorated #5300 kit that has been custom painted and decaled. - Custom weathering consisting of chalks, hand, oil and spray paint with overcoats of Dull Cote for permanence. - Wheel, truck, coupler, and underframe weathering. - ACI label decals added. - Kadee 36" metal wheelsets. - Kadee #5 magnetic couplers. - Additional weight added. - Car weight is 5.1 ounces.
