Howdy! Keith Bunch here. I'm glad to be back for my 12th year of building & weathering premium quality HO scale rail models! Also up tonight a reefer orange HO scale PS 4750 3-bay hopper from Intermountain Railway. It is lettered for "SUPERIOR CO-OP ELEVATOR CO." in the classic "billboard" style, car number PTLX 34646 . Out of the box features include etched metal roof walks, scale ladders and grabs and air hoses. On each end, Detail Associates cut levers were added for more realism. Intermountain 36' metal wheel sets (polished treads!) in Intermountain trucks make for a smooth ride. A secure hook up is provided by metal Kadee 5 couplers. The original reefer orange is washed out with layers of fading and rust covering the car. It's all covered with multiple layers of grime and grit. The roof and walks are heavily weathered, but the fiberglass hatches are fresh. The underside and ends are finished as well. The entire car is weathered, top to bottom and end to end! This Intermountain Railway "SUPERIOR CO-OP ELEVATOR CO. " has a standout paint scheme and an awesome weathered finish to go with it!
