For sale today is a completely customized Rick Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Spanto done by Chris Martin of Phantom Steel Works. The handles(presentation/lock sides) are titanium slabs that have been "murdered" by Chris and annodized a stunning light blue to gold. All standoffs, pivots, etc were replaced with titanium(clip was actually updated to the new custom Hinderer clip in blue titanium) and the blade was sharpened on a wicked edge to a mirror polish that is hair-shaving sharp.....not sure you even need to touch it to the hair as I'm sure the hair will simply fall off in fright!! The action on this will make you swear the knife runs on bearings.....truly the smoothest opening Hinderer I've ever owned or handled.....locks up like a vault and is perfectly centered; detent is solid and will respond with a light touch of the flipper tab. Never carried, never used.....just a true gem and a one-of-a-kind you won't find anywhere else!!
