Up for auction is this cute Composition Pinocchio Doll from the Classic Disney Film "Pinocchio". This doll is from the time of the film's original release in 1940-1942. He was made by The Crown Toy Co. He is 9.5" tall and made with his head, body and legs in one piece and jointed shoulders. He is marked on the back: "PINOCCHIO / Made USA / W. Disney Prod. / C.T." [Crown Toys]. He has considerable damage: [1] head has been broken off and glued back on, crack on left side of head from neck to above the ear [2] tip of his nose chipped off [3] chips on the brim of his hat, and tip of feather [4] chip of left pinky [5] chip on collar & both sleeves This is considered a Hard to Find item, but because of his condition I am starting with a very low opening bid.
