Up for bid is a cute pair of brass bottom smooth planes, one being compass shaped and one flat. Planes measure 5" long X 1 ¾' wide, (widest point). Irons measure 1 ¼" wide. Both planes are signed by the maker which I can partially make out: "?egny & Bollermann, 219 Bowery". (These came from a collection of tools that originally belonged to a piano maker, so are possibly piano making planes.) Overall condition is very good except for the wedge on the flat bottom plane as photos show.
