This bulldog cookie jar is just too cute! The stamp on the bottom reads: "GRANTCREST HAND-PAINTED JAPAN." The cookie jar without the lid stands about 6" tall. With the lid he stands 8" tall. At his widest points he is about 7" across. The actual opening to the jar is 4 3/4" across. As you can see in the picture t is a small flea bite on the rim of the cookie jar that can not be seen from the top. You either have to feel for it or look inside to know that it's t T is another picture that also shows (sort of. . . best picture I could get) some crazing and discoloration inside the cookie jar. I don't know much else about this guy but feel free to ask me anything else before bidding please. I am a good packer but would suggest insurance on this item. Pricing on insurance is based on the final sell price so wait for an invoice if you want insurance. I am also adding $.50 for a handling fee that is already included in the shipping cost.
