Featured is an original abstract painting signed Cy Twombly. The mixed media painting is 9"X 12" and painted on a single piece of heavyweight watercolor paper. No frame. Watercolor, pencil, mixed media on vellumTwombly was born in Lexington, Virginia. He emerged as a prominent figure among a group of artists working in New York that included Robert Rauschenberg, and Jasper Johns. His work has been displayed in many American and European galleries. Twombly died in Rome, Italy, in 2011. There is no documentation included. The piece was found in a portfolio-box with other artworks that i bought from a dealer in a flea market.Add this unique piece to your abstract collection today.
