This beautiful Rare Vintage Cybis Porcelain Figurine of a Boy on The Sand At The Beach is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. He is sitting on the sand listening to the sea in the shell he is holding to his ear. Surrounded by a sailboat, bucket and shovel, and has already built a sand castle. He also has collected a starfish and some shells, perhaps to add to his collection. The artistic detail in Cybis Porcelain figurine is second to none. This one has a quiet soft elegance. His facial features are truly lifelike, and the fingers are delicate with no damage. It is signed Cybis U S A in cursive on the lower back edge just under his left hip. Cybis 1979 is also impressed into the porcelain just to the right of the signed mark. The raised Cybis bird mark is in the center on the bottom. The base measures 6 inches by 5 inches and it stands approx. 5 3/4 inches tall. This exquisite figurine is retired and comes from a pet free, smoke free home.
