About the Author: Olive Murray Chapman Olive Murray Chapman was a British writer and traveller. Besides this book on Cyprus she wrote three others in the “Across” series: “Across Iceland”, Across Lapland” and “Across Madagascar” About this Book In “Across Cyprus” Olive Chapman gives an account of time she spent on the island of Cyprus in the mid-1930s. She travelled all over the island, talked to its people and painted and photographed what she saw.
