GOOD to VERY GOOD CONDITION This sale is for a large size vintage hardback FIRST EDITION entitled “ Cyprus in Picture ,” by Reno Wideson , with an Introduction by Sir Andrew Wright, K.C.M.G., C.B.E., M.C., Governor of Cyprus and packed with 175 quality full-page vintage photographic illustrations by the author, including a frontispiece and endpaper maps decorated with illustrations depicting places in Cyprus . It was published by Macgibbon & Kee, of London , and is the 1953 FIRST EDITION. A book of 175 fine full-page photographs taken over a three year period by Reno Wideson with captions. Includes antiquities, many featuring people of the towns and countryside, industry, buildings, seasons and much more. The book measures 10.25 inches x 7.75 inches and has 184 pages. The book is in very good condition for its age, neat and clean, with minor wear and is a little faded to the spine of the original cloth hardback cover, with a previous owner’s signature at the front and no other ink or pencil markings in the book. The binding is good with no loose or missing pages. There is no dust-jacket. A wonderfully illustrated vintage FIRST EDITION.
