Available for purchase is an absolutely CAPTIVATING Czech Perfume Bottle. This STUNNING Perfume was made in the Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic by Jaroslav Pesnicak. The HIGHLY cut & polished Bottle was made from the finest quality Pink Glass and is artist acid etch signed, J. Pesnicak. The matching Pink Stopper is Intaglio cut with the ever popular Kneeling Nude & Chrysanthemums. This Perfume is quite a RARE find as it was made using the SAME VINTAGE mold as was the original Art Deco predecessor of this Perfume dating back to the 1918-1938 ERA. Unlike prior attempts to reproduce this AWESOME Stopper, this one IS NOTCHED exactly like the Vintage predecessor. This ERA of Perfume Bottle production in Czechoslovakia (now known as Czech Republic) is the most highly regarded and sought after by Perfume Collectors Worldwide and is the most noted for being of the finest quality, workmanship and style. During this period, the Perfumes were hand-cut and polished by skilled artisans with the ultimate goal of reaching perfection in EVERY detail. The attention and central focus was always concentrated on the Stopper which often was two to three times the actual Bottle height. Most of the original molds for Perfume Bottles & Stoppers of this ERA were destroyed by the Germans in World War II for use in production of ammunition. Fortunately, the mold for this STUNNING Stopper had survived the almost inevitable fate and has given opportunity for the Production of this complete Perfume Bottle. However, recently the ownership of this mold has changed hands and unfortunately the fate of any future production is unknown and seemingly unlikely. The original predecessor of this Stopper is pictured in the well known and highly accredited Book Czechoslovakian Perfume Bottles & Boudoir Accessories, Revised Edition (Page numbers 53 & 142). Most notable is the current value listed in the Books Price Guide with the indication of the Stopper being in current production and STILL commanding $525. With our modest asking price, this Perfume is SURE to make an AMAZING addition to any Perfume Collection ... DONT MISS OUT!! #S
