After nearly a year of careful consideration and plenty of research we have found 2 extinguished glassmakers living in the Czech Republic that currently produce their fine art pieces by hand and sell locally within the Czech Republic. My cousin, who lives in the Czech Republic has visited dozens of local glass makers over the last year, and we have narrowed our search down to just two. We are thrilled to be able to sell these magnificent art glass pieces on EBay for our US and Canada collectors, and we guarantee...you will not find these pieces available anyw online or otherwise; unless you yourself were to visit the tourist shoppes in the Czech Republic w these pieces sell for nearly double our starting bid! Drahomir Ryl, whom made this stunning set is a second generation glass and tin maker and has over two decades of experience. He lives and works in the city of Liberec, in the Czech Republic. All of his pieces are handmade, casting items in plaster molds and finishing them manually. Every one is an original and takes a minimum of 15 hours to complete. Drahomir uses 1,000 year old technology in glass making, in those days, glassmakers didn't know to clean raw materials and their final products had a very light green hue....which actually made them even more beautiful! The workmanship in each of his pieces is like no other. Truly a handcrafted piece you will charish for years to come! Would also make a wonderful gift, each piece is carefully packaged in a sturdy lidded box that is lined in satin! Decanter/ Pitcher measures approx. 7.5". Each cordial is 3" tall. (2 cordials/glasses included in this set) If you are a true Czech Glass enthusiast, or just appreciate hard to find hand crafted art, you will not want to miss the rest of our collection!
