Czech/Slovakian vz 32-34 combat helmet with crest. Rare version of the Czech/Slovak vz 32-34 issued with a crest. This type was more of an experiment then something standarised.. From what I remember, these were tested for artillery, but the idea was abandonned, and the ones that were fitted with the crest ended up for the civil defence. Helmet is in good used condition, no cracks,dings or holes, but honest wear,scuffs and scratches that are found on a helmet that has been issued and worn. Black semi satin finish,a few areas with some surface oxidation are to be noted. The crest has no dings or holes and is in good shape aswell. The liner is made up out of the typical Czech 5-leather pad configuration, each filled up with horsehair. Each pad has 2 eyelets with a metal grommet, to pass the drawstring through. The pads are attached to the helmet by one rivet. 2 additional rivets are there to secure the chinstrap lugs to the helmet aswell. The chinstrap is also the standard Czech one, with open chincup,eniterly made out of leather and in good supple condition. This type of helmet really doesn`t run the streets, so take your chance on this one !
