The many different factories in the Czechoslovakia region have created some wonderful glass items through the years. These Amber glass cruet bottles are 5.5” tall and 3.5” wide including the handle. The stoppers have a nice tight fit into the bottle opening. The stoppers have been accented with two rows of gold paint. The top of the cruet was also accented with gold paint. On both cruets are the Mary Gregory styles of decoration, featuring the kids done in white paint. There is a tree and bush on either side of the kids. On one cruet is a little girl and on the other one is little boy. Both are reaching to catch a butterfly. The kids are 2.25" tall and 1.15" wide. There is no signature of the artist in the paint. There is no mark on the bottom of either cruet. This style of Mary Gregory painting is pictured in the book- Czechoslovakian Glass and Collectibles by Dale and Diane Barta and Helen Rose on page 128 and 129.
