I recently signed a contract for another wonderful collection of rocks that I will be offering to my ebay buyers. The majority of the material in this collection comes from Utah and some of it is no longer available to collect!! This auction is for an outstanding piece of extremely rare Cacoxenite in Amethyst. Superb coloring and patterns in this make it a prime piece for lapidary. This is a polished almost 1/2 pound rock that will please the pickiest collector or lapidist. This beautiful specimen comes from Brazil and is VERY hard to find these days!! This pretty piece measures 2 1/4" x 2 3/8" x 1 1/2" at its widest points and weighs .49 pounds. I will, as always, try to protect it the best I can for shipping. All photos are taken with material wet in order to show the colors better. As with all rocks, there may be fractures, either visible in photos or not. Mother Nature put them there, not me. Rocks and rockhounding are my passion. I try to list material that I would purchase, at a price that I would be willing to pay.
