Celebrate baseball's past with this lighted historic baseball stadium facade of Ebbets Field, home of the old Brooklyn Dodgers from 1913 through the 1957 season, when the team was moved to L.A. The ballpark was modest in size; however, the irregular configuration of the playing field and the proximity of the field to the box seats and the grand stands provided a unique, intimate atmosp This setting invited fans to behave not as distant spectators, but as active participants in a raucous and entertaining communal event. The scoreboard is an important part of the famous ballpark's legend and notoriety. Jutting five feet out into Right field, this scoreboard, like the original, includes a sign advertising a local men's clothing store across the bottom that says "Hit Sign, Win Suit". Rarely did a batter hit that sign, due to the impossibly low trajectory the ball was required to travel and the superbly fielding Dodgers playing Right field.
