FANTASTIC Antique Victorian Era DAGUERREOTYPE MOURNING LOCKET, with Image of a Gentleman. I believe it is PINCHBECK, and c1850 in date. Front has the Dag, and the Back, has what I believe to be a piece of his clothing. Hard to really tell, as t is an old Paper on the back blocking my view. Looks like it has a name, could be the name of the Gentleman pictured. Unfortunately I can not make it out at all. You might have better luck. Underneath the Visible Paper, is a SECOND paper. Cant make out anything on that, as the top paper nearly completely covers it. Either way, its an INCREDIBLE piece! Condition: Locket Missing the Front and Back Cover Plates. Dag has clouded around the edges (see pics), luckily, you can still see the Gentlemans FACE Clearly. SEE ALL PICS. Size: approx 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches. Great piece, Great price!
