In this auction we are offering a beautiful Dahl-Jensen Copenhagen figurine, #1295 "Bente" (Little Girl) originally modelled by Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen. This figure stands approximately 5.75 inches tall (14.5 cm). It bears the Dahl-Jensen Crown - DJ backstamp, along with the model number "1295" and the hand inscribed letter "S" on the bottom. This piece is first quality, in perfect condition with no chips, crazing, scratches, or any other damage. A perfect addition to your Dahl-Jensen or Scandinavian figurine collection. Very collectible. We are certain that you will be pleased. Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen (1874 - 1960) who worked earlier in his artistic career for Bing & Grondahl, founded a family business as Dahl-Jensen Porcelain in 1925. Of the nearly 400 figures that their factory produced over time, Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen sculpted approximately 280 figures. The company ceased production and subsequently closed in 1985.
