RCCA Prototype / Sample 1/24 Die CastThis is exactly as I received it, in the same packaging of an general release cardboard box, Styrofoam box & cloth bagNot available to Purchase ~ One of ???"0000" FOR THE LAST NUMBER ON THE PACKEAGE TRAY - ULTRA RARE !This is a Prototype "Sample" die cast. Before Action / Lionel produces a car they make a few "Sample" cars. I have heard quantities from "only a couple" to "6" to "no more than 12", at any rate they are ultra-rare.The factory needs to get approval from the car owners, sponsors, etc. before they mass produce a paint scheme, so they will run off a few between runs of other cars. I know a lot of these get thrown into the scrap bin and recycled, so this is possibly the only one of these to exist.I live in Phoenix, AZ (the former headquarter of Action), so occasionally I would run across these cars. I had a 1997 Dale Earnhardt Wheaties car that went for $1k.Due to a move, I am selling my entire personal collection. Over the next couple of weeks I will be listing hundreds of high-end, low production, rare, and cool cars.
