The lampshade has been hand blown and Dale had a skilled artist, Glynda Turley, design the hand paint scene on the lampshade. It then is signed and dated with Glynda Turley's name. Pleae look at the beautiful detail and colors of this lamp that gives it an "antique" quality. The shade has glass beads all the way around the bottom. MEASUREMENTS/LIGHTING SPECS: The lamp stands 63 1/2" tall and the shade is 10" diameter. The arm on the lamp is adjustable, you can move the shade up or down. It uses one 60 watt or smaller type A regular light bulb. The on - off switch is on the floor, so all you have to do is tap it with your foot. Remember Dale Tiffany Company makes some of the finest T!ffany and Handel reproductions in the world, so you can be assured that these are top quality lamps. This lamp is from the Handale Colletion. Phillip J. Handel (1867-1914) created an exceptional and succesful American Art Form and his shades became the rage in America and Europe. Dale has painstakingly reproduced the superb quality of the original Handel masterpieces. The base is a cast metal and finished in a warm antique bronze patina and then was hand rubbed to give it an aged look. It was tricky to photograph all the beautiful colors of the glass when lit. The pictures do not do it justice. It is new and unused and in perfect condition packed in the original container from the factory.
