You are bidding on Hungrey Horse Dam Photographs (Bureau Of Reclamation Hungrey Horse Project Montana)! 125 photos 8 X 10, they are clearer than they appear in my pictures. Hungrey Horse Dam is montanas highest and eleventh largest in the United States. Congress authorised the project June 5, 1944. Congress approved the project on the condition that work should proceed when war conditions premitted the diversion of resources to the project. The war delayed construction till 1945. Pre contruction commenced Aug. 1945. On Oct. 1st, 1952 at 11:35 AM. President Harry S. Truman, threw the switch to start power generation in the Hungrey Horse power plant. The photographs are turned up on edges from being in box, but overall good shape. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Shipping insurance is required. Shipping United States Only.
