This auction is for a Danbury Mint 1953 BUICK SKYLARK CONVERTIBLE LE (of 5000) in 1:24 scale. This model is VERY RARE, and becoming exceedingly hard to find. And this one is in EXTREMELY beautiful condition, and it has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED! It even still has the protective paper wrappings in the hood and trunk, and the protective foam in the interior! As can be seen in the photos, this one is in sensational condition! It looks nearly new! The Regal Red paint on this model is EXCEPTIONAL! It is very deep and glossy, and is in outstanding condition! I have rarely seen one with paint this nice! The paint looks superb, and there are no flaws of note! It is truly a classic and a beautiful car! It is gorgeous, and the pictures do not do this justice! As can be seen in the photos, the car will display wonderfully! The details on this car are just lovely. The chrome shines, and is in excellent condition! The matching red and white interior looks fantastic! The windows are clean and clear. The car is intact in every way, and all parts are present and functional. This comes with the option to display with the clean white soft top roof, or with the matching red convertible boot. It looks terrific either way! Both accessories are in superior condition, and have NEVER BEEN REMOVED from their original packaging! The wheels turn, and pivot with the steering wheel. This comes in its original box and protective styrofoam, and with the Danbury Mint Certificate of Title, the Unpacking and Care Instructions, and, as a bonus, a Certificate of Registration for the Classic Chevy Die-Cast Replicas subscription (it is included, because it has the same name as the one on the Title, so if you own the Chevys too, it can be added to that collection!). There is no other paperwork. Once more, this diecast is in outstanding condition! This is, by far, one of the most superlative examples of this particular model I have seen! And again, these are becoming more difficult to find, and when they are found, they can be quite expensive, particularly in this REMARKABLY PRISTINE and UNDISPLAYED condition! But with a VERY LOW opening bid, here is a chance to own one for a very reasonable price! And this model is priced to sell! It will be packed with great care, including plenty of packing material in an outer box, to assure no damage to this spectacular model. Shipping will include insurance.
