I found this plate in my mother-in-law's garage inside of it's presentation box which was stored inside it's own blue box. The outer box has some wear and the presentation box has a shiny substance (as though from a spill or from prolonged contact with the outer box?) on the top of it. The plate itself is in excellent condition and was stored inside it's own cloth bag. FRONT OF PLATE: Depicts 2 figures in a sleigh pulled by 2 horses. THE ROAD. - WINTER with CURRIER & IVES underneath is at the bottom of the scene. BACK OF PLATE: Stamp says, "The Danbury Mint, Christmas 1972, Limited Edition of 7500, Handcrafted by Reed & Barton, in it's exclusive 'Damascene' process, 24 KT gold and copper on solid sterling silver, No. 3427 All photos and descriptions are from my item.
