Complete 16-piece pewter chess "army" by the Danbury Mint called "The Army of Darkness" This set was produced as a companion set to the "Fantasy of the Crystal" chess set. These pieces were either stored or displayed behind glass the entire time I've owned them, and all are in perfect condition. They were never used to play chess. Included will be the thin paperback booklet that came with the set that tells the story of the characters depicted by the chess pieces and the relationship between this "army" and the armies of the original "Fantasy of the Crystal" set. This auction is for the sixteen chess pieces and the booklet only, and does not include a chessboard or any type of display. Each piece will be individually rolled in bubble wrap and packed carefully for shipping. Once packed, the package will weigh over six pounds. Insurance is optional, but recommended, as I cannot be responsible for the package being lost, stolen, or damaged. I will purchase delivery confirmation at my own expense. I also have the complete "Fantasy of the Crystal" set currently up for auction, and if the same buyer wins both sets, I will combine them to lower total shipping costs. Thanks for looking!
