Up for your consideration is a Danbury Mint Limited Edition El Camino Phantom.. If you're a fan of the Bel Air, then this one is right up your alley! Beautifully done by Danbury Mint and the quality shows throughout... Comes complete with box, handling instructions and title.. Title does have some writing on it.After being displayed for quite some time, the age of this model is starting to show.. I have some imperfections to point out and please review pictures as I describe such flaws, or as I like to call it, "character!" I might miss some as well so please review pictures carefully! Pictures do show dust as well, since it's a black vehicle..First you'll notice on the driver's side fender that there is a paint chip just below the windshield trim .. Not too noticeable when the door is closed.. Secondly the hood edge on the driver's side when lifted seems to be a bit rough.. Maybe it wasn't smoothed out after the casting and the paint doesn't quite cover the roughness?..Also there is some paint rash throughout the hood and down some of the sides.. As with all black paint, you will notice it more! That's the nature of the beast..From being displayed, the wheels seems a little loose then normal.. There is some side to side wobble.. They maybe tightened if you remove the hubcaps.. I'll leave that up to the new owner to decide?!This read more
