New seller, vintage items. Up for auction is vintage DANBURY MINT (12 OUNCES STERLING SILVER) PLATE Features "MOSES" by MICHAELANGELO Insert paper states 7,500 of these SOLID STERLING SILVER Plates were made. NINE (9) Inch Diameter, (approximately) 12 OUNCES STERLING SILVER Includes the wood outer protective box, the insert paper (some wrinkles) the brown colored protective cloth "purse" which houses the "Moses" Plate NUMBERED 5661 on back of plate, states STERLING ENGLAND Overall STERLING SILVER plate looks close to near new. I did notice some light plate to table scuffs on the back which would appear to mean that once this plate was used as a display piece. A nice looking "investment" piece which is probably worth more for the Sterling Silver weight than some ONE (1) out of 7,500 "Danbury Mint" limited edition "works of art" (?) UPDATE, I went and weighed this SOLID STERLING SILVER (.925) PLATE at my local post office. The scale stated 13.60 OUNCES or 385.5 GRAMS The Troy Weight is 12.395 OUNCES (as stated by Ounces To Troy Website) DANBURY MINT PLATE IS WARRANTIED TO BE 12 TROY OUNCES STERLING SILVER Postage within the USA is $12.00 for PRIORITY MAIL with INSURANCE
