You are bidding on the Danbury Mint piece, "On the Alert." This limited edition sculpture depicts a Whitetail breeding pair with a nine-point buck and a doe traipsing cautiously over a cobbled forest floor with brush and broken branches. This handsome piece displays beautiful detail right down to the texture of the ground. It measures a sizeable 12" long at the base x 10" high to the tines x 6" wide. The piece is in excellent condition with no wear or chips on the deer--even the tips of the tines are flawless. T is a rough spot on one branch that may be a chip or just a manufacturing error. The bottom is padded with green felt, so it can be displayed on mantle, desk, or tabletop without damaging the surface. The sticker on the bottom designates this piece as "On the Alert" by Bruce Miller and Curtis Christensen as distributed by the Danbury Mint. Fall is coming, and this wildlife scene is sure to be a warm and welcome addition to any décor.
