This auction is for the Danger Girl #2 Smoking Gun PLATINUM Variant issue. This book has NEVER been read and has been stored, bagged and boarded, in a secure, low-light environment. The pictures do not do it justice. Pictures of the staples are included. Any flaws seen on the cover are flaws TO THE BAG ONLY! This comic book has only been handled twice; once to bag it and once more to verify its condition. It is definitely NM/M leaning towards the M side of the equation. It will be securely shipped between two pieces of heavy cardboard in a priority shipping box. Attention: Do not be fooled by other, less scrupulous, sellers who are trying to pass off the normal #2 smoking gun variants (non-platinum or non-ruby red) as the ultra-rare versions of this issue. The platinum (if I remember correctly) was limited to 1500 and the ruby-red was limited to 500. This auction is for a genuine PLATINUM version. You can tell by the pictures. The platinum "danger girl" logo does not photograph well. It photographs as black. If you can see grey in the "danger girl" logo, that is grey INK, and while it is a semi-rare variant, it is NOT the rare platinum o the ultra-rare ruby red. Due to mulitple requests, I am submitting additional pictures. I had to take the book out of the bag for these images, so now the book has been removed for the third time. Extra care was taken. I am not a professional comic book seller. My husband owned these books and I am selling them for him (he is indesposed). This and one other were the pride of his Danger Girl collection. I know they were VERY well cared for. I do not know what the CGB (or whatever) grade for these books are. I do know that I see no blemishes, bends, scratches, rips, or any other damage. They were stored securely, never handled, and almost never saw light. They were stored in a low humidity environment. The new pictures illustrate this very well. I have no reason to believe that they are not NM/M (as my husband told me they were).
