Calling all fans of "B" murder mysteries, vintage pin-ups, and forties film noir -- is an obscure title you may not remember, Dangerous Blondes (1943) directed by Leigh Jason and starring Evelyn Keyes, Allyn Joslyn, Edmund Lowe, Anita Louise, Frank Craven, William Demarest, and John Hubbard. Fondly remembered by fans of the genre, Dangerous Blondes has not had regular TV showings in many years, which is unfortunate indeed! This eye-popping 22" x 28" Half-sheet puts a leggy, full figure pin-up of Evelyn Keyes front and center, flanked by smaller images of Anita Louise, Frank Craven, and Allyn Joslyn (who plays a mystery writer/amateur sleuth in the film). Joslyn and Keyes portray the Craigs, a loving husband and wife team whose sprightly banter reminded many viewers of Nick & Nora Charles. Best of all, this authentic theater-used Half-sheet is in great shape. Original colors are still bold and vibrant. T is no evidence of fading. A faint vertical crease runs down the middle of the poster, but it has never been folded in quarters. Two small tears in the white border were long ago mended with brown tape from the back; owing to the thickness of this poster, bleed-through should not be a problem.
