Architects in Louis Poulsen designed this ceiling lamp in 1970 and called it the Arbejdspendel or skomagerpendel acording to our sources in the branch. Much used in living rooms, working places, kitchens, billiards in Scandinavia, it was made of metal covered with glossy enamel called technically "Porcelain enamel" that gave the lamp an uncommon shine. Not only that, it protected the lamp from scratches with an extreme hard surface. Thanks to this treatment the Arbejdspendel (Working Lamp) survived many decades of use. Vintage 60's-70's. Excellent condition. New rewired and with the original ceramical socket. Very useful & elegant lamp. Fusion of Art & Light. If you live in a modern box-like home (most of us do) why not optimize space? This lamp is perfect for minimalistic areas at home. Nice Lamp Art from Scandinavia!
