DESCRIPTION A beautifully designed & crafted Danish solid Teak framed model 141 armchair designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Magnus Olesen. – Fully restored condition The chair has a very appealing low slung look which is best appreciated when viewed on its side profile (photograph 2) the contrast between the perfectly straight arm and angled lower support works incredibly well, this alongside features such as the sharply tapering front arm arm face (photograph 5) make this a very striking and unusual chair. We have had it upholstered in a genuine handwoven manx tweed, pure new wool blue tweed fabric that compliments the rich conker colouring of the Teak frame perfectly. This would make a great addition to any vintage/mid-century modern or contemporary styled interior. DIMENSIONS Total Height = 76cm Height to seat pad = 41cm Width = 67cm Depth = 65cm CONDITION In superb restored condition. There may be some very minor polished in marks to the wooden frame as to be expected but nothing to detract from the vintage appeal of the chair - please take a look at the photos for more detail. All brand new foam interiors & upholstery. The frame is all structurally sound, the spring webbing system is all intact although has there are a couple of tiny areas where the rubber casing has worn through. COLLECTION Collections read more
