DESCRIPTION: For auction is a wonderful fireside lounge chair designed by Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen for Gustav Bertelsen. This design, highlighted by it's dramatic wide lapel arms, is classic Scandinavian. I believe the wood is mahogany. The blended original fabric upholstery is a neutral tan/putty. REFERENCE: Kindt Laresen worked with Kaare Klint and was a contemporary of Hans Wegner. Website: dmk.dk has pair of similar chairs offered for $10,000 US. This is a no reserve auction. DIMENSIONS: Chairs 27" tall x 28" wide x 30" deep. CONDITION: Overall good condition. The chair frame has some nicks, dents, minor abrasions and scratches. No breaks or major issues. Upholstery is in very good condition. One tiny pinpoint spot of fabric loss (see photo). Chair is fully usable as is. This is an "as is" sale. Please contact me with any additional questions or requests for photos. SHIPPING: Seat will be detached for shipping. FedEx Ground, fully insured to Continental US Addresses is $109.00. Greyhound Package Express shipping is $69.00 with insurance up to $300 (Greyhound's maximum) for shipping to any participating Greyhound location. Buyer would need to pick up box at the Greyhound station in their area. Station locations can be located at (www shipgreyhound com). Items can also be pickup in San Jose, CA. Item can be stored at my location for up to 30 days to allow buyer time to arrange shipping. If b uyer wishes to make their own shipping arrangements, they are responsible for all shipping charges.
