Danish Madsen Bayonet. This vintage bayonet has a 8" bright satin finished, double edged blade. The ricasso is etched with the number: "6392". The hilt fittings are black finished steel with light colored wood handle scales. Included is the original black finished steel scabbard. No scabbard frog is included. This bayonet is designed fit the Model 1947 Madsen rifle. True double edged bayonets are fairly uncommon. This example is in near mint condition. The blade appears unused with only light marks from being sheathed. The latch is unmarked; this bayonet looks like it has never been on a rifle. The scabbard is in very good condition with light handling/ storage marks. A nice example of an uncommon bayonet from Denmark!Domestic shipping for this item will be $ 10.00, international shipping extra.
