Offered for adoption is the solid color more formal modern look of the extremely collectible Cathrineholm enamel on steel kitchen and tableware series from Norway. Designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen (married name Korsmo) and produced in the 50's and 60's they are truly survivors, both in design and functionality. This bowl has clearly been used (yeah for the previous owner) with mild exterior scratches on the stainless steel, more so on the bottom w contact with surfaces is made, but virtually perfect cobalt blue interior, no edge issues at all, and yet over FIFTY YEARS LATER is still a very beautiful bowl for another generation to use. The brilliance of this very, very Scandinavian blue has to really be seen to be appreciated--my photography skills do not do justice. Diameter 9 1/2", height 4". Stay tuned! Total of TWENTY PIECES BEING SOLD. I have been specialized in retail and interiors of Scandinavian/International modern design for over 40 years and stand behind the authenticity, accuracy, and condition of my products. Any questions, comments, requests can be directed to . I am always happy to help fellow modernists. Good luck and thanks for visiting the Suburbs!
