Up for auction is this fantastic danish modern sofa. Designed by Grete Jalk in 1963 for France & Son and distributed by John Stuart. The frame is solid teak with a light green upholstery and spring cushions. Superb quality and construction! Condition is excellent with normal age associated wear. Some light roughness to the legs and a few very light scratches as pictured. The teak looks beautiful with a clean original finish. The sofa is structurally sound with no wobble or loose joints. The cushions were cleaned and treated with scotch guard and t are no stains rips or wear in the fabric. No crunchy foam it's nice and soft! The underside or decking have the original straps that are sagging a little but still have good support. A nice example that is ready to use! Measurements are 77" long by 29" deep and is 29" high in the back. Seat height is about 16". Very comfortable! I would prefer a local pick up but would be willing to work with a shipper of your choice. I am located 90 minutes north of Chicago in Waukesha, WI. Free storage is offered up to 6o days. Just another thought for shipping. I should be able to pack and send the sofa with Bax Global but will not know the exact cost. It would require some custom packing and could be pricey depending on your location. If you need an estimate please contact me.
