This unusual chest on chest features wonderful rosewood veneer graining that was a hallmark of mid century danish styling. This piece and the matching double dresser were bought from the original owners family and are from the 1960's. Recessed rosewood angular drawer pulls, campaign style brass hinges and graduated drawer sizes plus the double door chest at the top combine to create a distinctive mid century look..Size: 47" tall, 381/2" across x 18 1/2".Made in Denmark by LangkildeCondition: The units has been cleaned and oiled. The top shows light wear with some bubbling of the top veneer but no breaks. The drawer fronts have some veneer chips that have been wax filled. The brilliant rosewood graining is even and rich creating an overall look that is quite nice.Shipping or pickup location is Silver Spring, Md. 20903 (suburban Washington DC).
