is a superb, 48" diameter Danish modern teak table and chairs set deigned by Hans Olsen for Frem Rojle with the 20" butterfly style leaf. This is the fabulous set that the chairs interlock with the table apron to create a smooth look and also a great space saver. This set comprises four beautifully styled chairs of solid teak and the large round teak table, all chairs are original to the table and bear the same numbers underneath as the table does, all chairs and table are signed Frem Rojle and all have the Danish quality logo and all say Made in Denmark. The table itself is remarkable in that it dates from the 50's and is a testement to the fine quality of construction that it has beautiful grain and very fine teak used, the table slides open effortlessly to allow the 20" leaf to open and it locks perfectly into place making this table 68" long, plenty of room for 6 people. The leaf is a slightly lighter shade than the table and this was very normal on these sets. This table is in wonderful condition, very clean everyw, the top is in excellent condition with just a few minor marks that are quite faint and not noticeable. The edges of the table are crossbanded in solid teak all the way round. The legs are pole type and are in superb condition. The four chairs interlock with the table perfectly, all four chairs are strong and in very good shape, however one chair has had a repair that is strong and stable, not too noticeable unless you look hard and does not affect the look or usability of this set, please see picture of repair. All other three chairs are near perfect with normal wear. All seats are in new condition. This is the harder to find set with the more stable four legged chairs and the much larger diameter table. It is a super set in terms of quality and wonderful style. I am starting it quite low and t is no reserve. PLEASE NOTE that this set looks better in real life!!
