DANISH Sterling 41-Pc FLATWARE SET by JENS SIGSGAARD ~ I am offering this set of gorgeous handmade Vintage Danish Sterling Flatware made under the assayer Jen Sigsgaard during the middle part of the 20th century. This beautiful pattern follows along the designs of Georg Jensen and the Arts and Crafts, modern style of the Danish. This flatware set includes: Piece Length Quantity Dinner Fork 7 1/2'' 6Luncheon Place Fork 6 5/8'' 8Salad Fork 5 3/8'' 8Teaspoon 6 7/8'' 8Coffee / PM Spoon 4 3/4'' 10 Table / Serving Spoon 7 3/4'' 1Total 41 The castle date mark on these pieces was implimeneted in 1608 as the offifical mark of Copenhagen. The date marks on this set span from 1938 to 1961 as this set was probably added on to at different points in time. The silver assayer on this held the position from 1932 to 1960. Some of the pieces also say "Haandsmedet" which I am assuming means Handmade. This is a simply gorgeous, collectible set! Best of luck!
