This locomotive is as the title and photograph and is in excellent condition having had little use. When I purchased this loco I disliked (and still do!) Dapol's dead flat paintwork so I promptly airbrushed it gloss black. Then I put "Modelmaster" transfers on for the smokebox number and early B.R. emblems and etched brass number plates, from the N gauge society, then airbrushed several coats of Humbrol satin varnish over it. To me it was vastly improved and then matched in with my Graham Farish locos. In the process I changed the number to 5563 as this was one of the last survivors of the class and if required, could be changed to late B.R. easily enough, should I wish to at a later date. The loco runs fine at all speeds in forward and reverse. It will be boxed in the original Dapol box complete with paperwork which is all in very good condition. I will slowly be thinning my railway collection over the coming months if I can decide which items have to go, this is NOT my decision I may add.
