DAR Museum Civil War Eagle Bedspread Wooden Keepsake Box with Porcelain Tile This wooden keepsake box with a porcelain tile of the Counterpane Quilt Bedspread made by the 80 year old Margaret English Dodge of Brooklyn, NY in 1864. She made another in silk which was presented to President Lincoln that is now lost, but the DAR Museum has preserved the cotton version depicted on the box. New in box. 5 inches square and 2 3/4 inches high. There is a small dent in the wood on the top. See first picture.
