This is an absolutely stunning round butter dish with a domed lid. The glass is a clear deep emerald, or Christmas green, that shows the pressed pattern beautifully. It is in the lovely old Inverted Thistle pattern that was originally made by Cambridge Glass. The pattern repeats going around and completely fills the under side of the dish. Measures appx 6-1/4" to the top of the knob on the lid, and is 7-1/4" across. T is a recessed well in the center of the dish that is 1/2" deep and 4-1/2" across. The perfect size for butter or cheese. New and in mint condition. Hand made pressed glass. Made by Mosser Glass. An elegant addition for your collection, a joy to use, and a special gift!
