Awesome - Master Replica! for auction is this really neat double bladed lightsaber kit by master Replicas. It is titled Star Wars Darth Maul Lightsaber / Force FX Collectible. This kit includes (2) full size lightsabers each measuring 43.5" (tip to tip) or 86" combined, (2) black plastic display stands (with clear acrylic arms), (1) metal coupler (connecting sabers) and (1) Instruction manual. This is an authentic official reproduction from Master Replicas. Although I've not put this item together, I've researched that both blades glow red and have realistic power-up / power-down light effects. Additionally, this kit offers five motion sensor controlled sound effects recorded from the movie: power-up, idle hum, swing, clash and power-down. The blade has three built-in motion sensors for super sensitivity (detecting movement and impact). The metal is heavy duty and the lights are made of durable acrylic. These sabers use 6 AAA batteries (not included). The unit appears to have been slightly used. I can see one tiny knick in one of the saber handles (see photo 6, saber in the front) and the black displays have some scuffing. Lastly, t is one miniture light bulb (less than 1/4" round) missing on one of the handles (see photo 5, upper handle). You will need to supply an allen wrench to connect the sabers to the coupler.
